⚠️ Suspicious Circumstances Reported in Wellington

Dear Residents,

We would like to make you aware of a suspicious incident that occurred during the evening of 24th January within the Wellington area.

A resident returned home to find an unknown male on their private land. When challenged, the male claimed he was “waiting for someone to pick him up,” but then walked away, entered a van, and drove off. The area where he was found is only accessible by passing through multiple gates, making his presence particularly unusual.

The resident has checked their property and confirmed that nothing appears to have been taken; however, the behaviour was concerning and has been reported.

Description of the male: White male, approximately in his 30s, dark hair, tattoos up his neck, wearing all dark clothing

Vehicle details: Dark blue van, believed to be an ’04 plate

We encourage residents to remain vigilant and report any suspicious behaviour or unfamiliar vehicles in the area.
